Funamos · Colombia
Football. Culture. No sidelines.
Train. Live. Play. Belong.
Eight days in Ovejas with Funamos, the club families built on a former rubbish dump. Led by Juanca and the Funamos coaches.
This isn't a football holiday.
Where. Ovejas, a small town in Sucre on Colombia's Caribbean side, where families turned a rubbish dump into a football pitch and built Funamos on it.
What you'll live. Training every morning with Funamos coaches as one squad: same kit, same pitch, same rules. Matches in the afternoon, then a language and culture exchange with the families, Spanish and English both ways. Gaita music, the olla comunitaria and the plaza alive until late.
Why it's a must. In 2026 Funamos became the first community club from Ovejas in the Liga de Fútbol de Sucre. Your kids train with players making history, and parents don't watch from a pool. You're in it too.
JuancaLed by Juanca. Backed by us.
Juan Camilo Marín, known as Juanca, leads the club with Mónica, and his coaches run every session of this camp.
We're there too, amplifying their work. This is a community-led travel business, so the collective builds it together, finds the partners that help it grow, and handles preparation, logistics and safety so the opportunity holds.
Juanca and Mónica are part of the School of Elevation, where every community rep is learning digital skills to grow their own business. Your trip backs that too. Meet the School of Elevation →
See it for yourself.
The journey, day by day.
Led on the ground by Juanca. The route can shift with weather, season and what the community needs that week.

Questions people actually ask.
Does my child need to be good at football?
No. They need to show up, train hard and play fair. Funamos players range from beginners to departmental finalists.
What do parents do?
Join in. Parents have their own programme of culture, food and community time, and come together with the players every day.
Is Colombia safe for my family?
We go where we know people. The route is agreed with Funamos, a local lead is with you every day, and every family gets a full briefing before flying.
How every journey works: who leads, where the money goes, flights and groups.
Every journey starts with a conversation.
Tell us who's coming and why, then book a call with us. No payment until we've both said yes.
